Biography
As CEO and Founder of O Skin Med Spa, Olivia Quido has devoted 17 years to helping women look and feel more beautiful. A deeply-rooted passion for skin care esthetics, plus her nurturing instinct and holistic approach to beauty have catapulted Olivia to success not only as a top-rated esthetician, entrepreneur, and women’s advocate, but as a beauty icon and winner of many industry accolades including AARP’s Top 8 Woman Entrepreneurs in LA, the LA Mayor’s Entrepreneur Award, Top 100 Filipinos in the USA, and a Woman of the Year award.
"Ms. O," as she’s fondly known, started her career as a California-licensed esthetician working from a tiny, leased space in Artesia, California. She zealously honed her skills, performing outstanding facials in the small confines of an eight-by-six-foot room, while learning the ropes of running a spa. Her drive, resilience and fierce determination paid off as word spread about her talents, bringing more and more clients to her door. So in 2007, Olivia moved to a larger skin clinic, and then in 2012, opened a second clinic in Eagle Rock Plaza Mall. A year later, she moved the Artesia clinic to a larger space in the Cerritos Mall to accommodate her growing clientele. Now with 2 spa locations with 12 treatment rooms, 3 consultation rooms and offering a wide range of skin services in conjunction with medical professionals, Olivia began offering not only facials, but 3D eyebrow sculpting, Botox and Fillers, Stem Cell Rejuvenation, Plasma Lift and IV glutathione treatments, making the O Skin Med Spa the most sought-after, Filipino-owned medical spa in Southern California. Olivia employs more than 40 mostly Filipino technicians, including licensed physicians, nurses, estheticians, and micro-blading artists.
O Skin Med Spa is the spa of choice among Filipino beauty queens; from 2011 to 2015. And other Filipino celebrities like KC Conception, Boy Abunda and Claudine Barretto also endorsed her services. And Hollywood stars like Patti Austin and others regularly drive out from LA for her famous signature facial. Olivia was signed with ABSCBN International and The Filipino TV Channel (TFC) early on to present her own weekly show titled, “Beauty by O,” now entering its 10th year. And O Skin Care has been featured in numerous publications including Travel & Leisure magazine in the Philippines.
In 2011, Olivia launched her signature high-performance skin care line called O Skin and recently released their 24-karat gold-infused line under The Secret Collection name. The line now comprises Secret Gold, Secret Glow, Secret Radiance and the soon to be released, Secret Pearl line and is one of the most raved-about celebrity lines in Hollywood. In 2019, O Skin Care was named official skincare line of the 2019 Miss Universe Pageant in Atlanta, where Olivia was the exclusive skincare coach to the 91 delegates. This proved a major boost in terms of extending social media coverage, when contestants began posting about their results. Olivia Quido Skin Care is distributed globally in Nepal, the Philippines, Cebu, and Canada, and will soon premiere in Dubai.
Recently, O Skin made its red carpet debut at the 46th Annual Emmy Awards, where Olivia presented her products first hand in the Emmy Lounge Suite The red carpet event won her new celebrity clients including Days of our Lives’ stars, Kyler Pettis and Victoria Konefal, as well as General Hospital Alum Lily Melgar, and Vanderpump Rules host Dan Babic as A-list clients.
Olivia’s journey is a classic success story told and retold in the Filipino-American Community. Hers is the quintessential story of an immigrant fulfilling her American dream. Her giving nature has inspired Filipinos worldwide to give back to their communities. Actively involved in women’s empowerment advocacies with women from all walks of life, Olivia, along with her family, are donors to the House of Moses, an international child welfare ministry for orphaned and abandoned children, and also the Joyce Meyer Ministries. She also supports several church ministries in the Philippines.
