Known as "Sephora Kids," this generation is reshaping beauty standards and expectations, heavily influenced by social media platforms like TikTok. We will discuss the responsibilities of beauty brands in ensuring product safety for young consumers, emphasizing the importance of transparent labeling and educational initiatives for parents and caregivers. As brands engage with this demographic, the opportunity to cultivate loyal customers and harness the influence of young creators is immense. ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

Stephanie Leshney, Founder

Dabble & Dollop

In 2019, Stephanie started her dream business - a children’s bath and body brand centered around creativity, joy and connection – Dabble & Dollop.  The products are designed to be mixed and let children “create” their own custom-scented recipes. The product designs amp up care routines for kids, making bath time a full sensory experience. Stephanie’s natural ingredient expertise and experience as a mother guided the creations of the company’s clean, naturally derived, plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, dairy free formulations that solve for parents’ ingredient and safety concerns. To date, the brand caught the eye of several “Best for Baby/Child” awards, including Good Housekeeping, Parents Magazine and Babylist.  In February 2025, Dabble & Dollop announced the brand’s launch of 9 skus into Target stores nationwide.

Stephanie Ross Leshney started her career in 1997 as Employee #3 in her father’s ingredient company, Ross Organic. Over the next two decades, Stephanie held or helped establish just about every role within the organization. Working side by side with her sister, the siblings took over ownership of the company in 2012, with Stephanie being named President and CEO. The company attracted the attention of strategic buyers seeking to capitalize on the company’s momentum and capture the company viewed by many as the preeminent supplier of naturally derived ingredients in the Western United States. So it was that in January 2017, she and her sister, along with her father’s blessing, agreed to sell the company to Belgian-based Azelis, one of the largest ingredient distribution companies globally.
